coming back to town very soon. can anyone give me an
idea of places who make a good French Toast and Bread Pudding?
i read somewhere that bread pudding was an early Quebecois invention created when they used to mix milk, bread, and sugar in the morning and then eat it when they returned from hunting, trapping, ect.
i'd like to try and find some authentic versions of that and French toast when i come in next week. my own
French toast beats anything i've ever had in a restaurant but i found good bread pudding/custard in a local Greek diner here and i learned to love it. (they also make excellent "grape nut" custard pudding)
