Does anyone know of a local source for french fries fried in beef tallow?
Not really sure if the best version uses all beef tallow or just as a "flavor agent." Comments?
I've heard that the Hitching Post uses beef tallow, but unfortunately, I heard that *after* our visit.
Rumor has it-- perhaps I heard it on Good Food (KCRW)-- that Father's Office uses a percentage of beef tallow. I've had their fries several times and enjoyed them, but with all of the beefy goodness in the burger, it is hard to tell where the flavor was coming from.
