I just spent a lovely 10 days in the Oporto area of Portugal and fell in love with the local sammich - the Francesinha. It's the only thing I can imagine that is worse for you than Quebecois poutine.
In case you were wondering, the Francesinha is a sandwich filled with steak, ham, chorizo, and sausage, covered in sliced cheese, and then smothered in a beer- and tomato-based gravy.
Anyways, I was wondering if any of the Portuguese restaurants in New England's Portuguese areas were brave enough to serve this wonderful artery-clogger...
