My fiance declared that the muscles were the "best ever". I began with the Foie Gras with cherries -- a nice balance of salty and sweet. Our friends began with the organic greens and the pizza. Both were also good. We also had the whole fish (moist flesh, delicate flavor), roast chicken (must have been brined, excellent crispy skin), and seafood stew. We enjoyed the Elk Cove Pinot Noir with dinner ($33 a bottle). For desert, we had the apple tart with lemon ice cream and the chocolate souffle with rum sauce and banana ice cream. Both were nicely executed.
Everything from the bread basket to the coffee at the end of the meal was wonderful -- and a complete bargain in comparison to the the Boston prices we are used to.
