Last night on Food Nation with Bobby Flay on the Food TV Network they visited Chicago.
Hot Dogs from Weiner Circle and Italian Beef from Al's were featured.
The big thrust of the show was steak. Gibsons was the featured restaurant and the remainder of the show was on selecting and cooking steak.
It seems to me more of a representation of Chicago Steak would be Gene and Georgettis and Eli's each a Chicago staple and tradition. And of course Eli's would also cover cheesecake, the creamy type popular in Chicago.
Overall though the show was interesting.
