Tried Flyte for dinner.
Enjoyed the wine selection, as well as their underappreciated craft beers.
Amuse bouche of roasted garlic, hummus and basalmic sea salt was a nice way to start off the meal.
The beet salad and grill squid appetizers were both hits.
The trout and chicken confit were described as just ok, but certainly not bad. The filet with farro was good, but the farro was oversalted.
Dessert was a concoction called "Custard's Last Stand" which was basically a melange of vanilla ice cream with sea salt, a flourless chocolate cake, and a spoonful of house-whipped cream. A good sweet-and-savory dessert, but a bit too rich.
Overall enjoyed the experience, and service was impeccable.
