Flag Hill Pomme de Vie

Flag Hill Farm in Vershire, VT, makes some tasty hard cyder (that's how they spell it).
Today (at Norwich Wine & Spirits - Norwich, VT), I came across the greatness that results when good cyder is distilled a few times -- Flag Hill Pomme de Vie ($13.00 or so/375 mL bottle).
On first sip, it's at least the equal of the Clear Creek [these guys boil some ultra eau de vie goodness in most flavors, though East coast prices are at least double midwest/west coast prices] Oregonian Calvados equivalent (http://www.clearcreekdistillery.com/P... ; though not as oaked).
It also sports some aesthetically pleasing packaging.

Check the attached website for info.

{In the name of regional fairness, Poverty Lane Orchards in Lebanon, NH, also produces some fantastic Farnum Hill hard cider (www.farnumhillciders.com ; check the semi-dry particularly), but so far I've not been hipped to any resulting applejack -- check back later!}
