Has anyone noticed how bad the fish tacos are in this town. At one time Berryhills were pretty darn good. So were the tamales they served. Does anyone remember that guy Chuck that used to run Berryhills back in the 94-95 years on Revere? He was great. Everytime I went I thought he forgot about us and at the exact time I wanted to go up and ask if are order was about ready they would suddenly appear. yes, I still go to Berryhills on Mondays for the 1/2 price tacos (The normal price is $3.99 for 1 taco!)
Also, Cabo had a decent fish taco and a very good habanero taco. Alas both restaurants expanded and the food went downhill and the owners decided they were larger than life and could do whatever they wanted without consequence ( you guys no what I am talking about).
I wish we could have a real fish taco stand around here. Serve fried fish tacos with coleslaw, pico, lime, cilantro, etc. Maybe I should get a mobile unit decked out with a couple fryers and give it a go? Nah, I don't have the balls to do it I guess. So I guess I will just have to take a trip to baja when I really want a good taco.
