For the third time, we ventured south to Dedham, to FINZ, for a seafood lunch. Our dozen oysters (half Chathams and half Malpeques) couldn't have been more fine. They were impeccably fresh and had been opened with a master's hand, leaving lots of briny liquor deliciousness. Then, just to top things off, we shared a blackened catfish tostada -- affordable and piquantly yummy, that was large enough for two, although it comes from the appetizer menu. The whole room is tastefully decorated, carefully lit, and there are a nice combination of banquet-style booths as well as tables. I highly recommend the trip down Rt. 128. It's well worth it. Plus they have a beautiful big salt-water tropical fish tank that is filled with interesting specimens. We found the wait staff warm and welcoming, informative and attentive without hovering. Good news, too, is that they are reinstating their Sunday brunches shortly and that should be a welcome change from the dim sum/pancake usual.
