Fine dining for the gluten intolerant?

Viva | Aug 26, 2005 01:51 PM

I have a friend coming into town this weekend, and I'm trying to plan a nice night out. The unfortunate thing is that she is gluten intolerant (i.e no wheat, rye, barley, etc.) and I'm not used to picking restaurants based on that consideration. I'm trying to find out if Picasso or other restaurants in that range have a good selection of items for someone with food sensitivities. Japanese and Thai places are almost always safe, so I am considering Lotus of Siam. But I also want a more upscale option. Any ideas?
Thanks.
