When I lived in New York City I used to go to a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown called Joe's Shanghai that serves soup dumplings (along with other tasty food, if you still have room after eating 16 orders of dumplings). They're sort of like a dim sum dumpling, but in addition to the meat and/or seafood filling, they are also filled with broth. Just typing this makes my mouth water. I had them once in SF at a restaurant on Geary (which I now can't remember the name of), but they weren't very good. Does anyone know a place in SF (or anywhere in the Bay Area for that matter) that might have them? I'm so hungry, and New York is so far away.
