Finally tried KP's Vietnamese Deli in Silverlake

This place is a great addition to the neighborhood. It was a little tricky to find it and park at 5pm on a weekday, but well worth it. The owner is super friendly and the marinated beef bahn mi I tried was wonderful. It's not super cheap like some of the bahn mi places like Baguette Express, but you also get a lot more stuff in your sandwich (@ $6). The dried beef was chopped in little cubes. It looked odd but tasted great. There was loads of marinated veggies on top and some nice fresh jalapenos and cilantro. The roll was great as well. My friend had a regular turkey sandwich and said it was very tasty.

You can park short term at the liquor store next to KP's or the Da Gianino lot on the other side. There are a few tables inside if you prefer to eat there. Highly recommend you give this place a try.
