Via Brasil (6616 Collins Ave.) has a very passable feijoada (13.95 for one, $24.95 for two)that they serve Saturdays only. The stew itself has all kinds of great fatty and chewy pig parts as well as carne secca (dried beef) and beans. It's served with rice, finely sliced collard greens (couve), orange slices and farofa, I don't exactly know what farofa is but it's like eating delicious sand! They have caiparihnas, beer and Guarana, Brazilian soda.
This is a tiny little diner type place, - nothing fancy at all.
Incidentally, the Fish with Shrimp sauce and the Moqueca de Peixe were both pretty uninteresting.
