Favorite place for "comfort food"?

What place do you go to just for food that makes you comfy and content, just some place that makes you at ease and happy?

No reason the food has to be "good" and the attachment can be totally irrational (and proably is!).

For me the most immediate place that pops to mind is Spike's Teriyaki Bowl in SGV.

At Spike's, I always get the chicken/beef teriyaki combo plate with the pickled cabbage and potato salad. Is it necessary the best lunch plate around? No. The teriyaki sauce is nothing special - pedestrian at best. The char-broiled chicken and beef are simply cooked, on the verge of being dry and jerky-like. The cabbage is not really pickled, as it is soaked and the potato salad is more like the plain-brand stuff you get at Ralphs than anything that a true deli would charge you well in excess of $5/pint for. But alas, I am hooked. Go figure.
