favorite individual dishes in Austin

What are your favorite individual dishes in Austin? I'm especially interested in good finds in north-west Austin (Arboreatum area, the corporate food wasteland where a lot of my friends live), downtown (work), and south-central Austin (home). Obviously, I'll be glad to hear ANY recommendations though.

Thanks,
Matt

SOME OF MY FAVORITES IN AUSTIN:
mushroom or chicken maximo burrito @ Chango's - very fresh ingedients, including tortillas made right in front of your eyes

chicken sandwich @ Phonecia Deli - aka "The Crack Sandwich" because it's so good that they must slip something in it

java special with red curry sauce @ Java Noodle - spicy coconut flavoured goodness

turkey empanada @ Empanada Parlour - just the right spices; be sure to ask for the dipping sauce

migas (with cheese & mushrooms) and flour tortillas @ Curra's - cheap hearty breakfast that you can get any time of day

pastor tacos @ Maria's Taco Express - sometimes a little dry, but excellent flavour

rejeno de papa @ Havana - a mashed potato shell around ground beef

veggie pilau @ Calabash - simple rice and veggies, but great buttery flavour

MY HONORABLE MENTIONS:
bianca sauce (a white sauce) on pizza @ pizza nizza - not quite a dish, but worth mentioning; not to mention zucchini as a pizza topping

char broiled salmon @ Threadgill's - simple and maybe not something to write home about, but very consistently good

deep dish pizza @ conan's - very inconsistent preparation, but excellent sauce

buda roll (veggie tempura roll) @ Sushi Sake - a new favorite of mine

egg salad sandwich @ Sweetish Hill Bakery - maybe it's just the great bread

rastafarian ital loaf @ Calabash - faux meat that's worth ordering

philly cheese steak @ Deliware Subs

battered french frys @ Hyde Park Bar and Grill - an Austin cliché, but good

bean and cheese burrito @ chuy's - guilty pleasure
