How expensive is Salts? Other suggestions?...

The online menu doesn't show prices, which makes me a little nervous. My parents will be visiting this weekend, and I want to go out somewhere on Friday night for a celebration dinner. Moderately pricey is fine (entrees in mid-high 20s), but I do also want to be sensitive to the fact that they'll be paying!
Does anyone have other suggestions? Is Salts a good choice? Quality of food is paramount -- a relaxing space (not too formal and stuffy) and good selection of cocktails and dessert wines would be a plus. They're passionate but not tremendously adventurous eaters, so new American, French, or Italian would probably be the best bet.
East Cambridge or anywhere in Boston would be fine. I live in Harvard sq. and so have done most of the nearer restaurants (Rialto, Chez Henri, Oleana) with them before.
