I am bringing, among other things, our family's traditional sweet potato recipe. I have never made it before, and have been sworn by MIL that it is merely canned yams, mixed with canned diced pineapple, mixed with some mini marshmallows, then topped with large marshmallows and baked.
How do you make your sweet potato dish? I would love to introduce a new recipe - read about one with bourbon that sounded interesting but would prefer one that it tried and true. Of course, I will have to make both the old and new - there is no messin' with tradition!
