We are planning our 2006 San Anselmo wedding from LA so I'm starting early on the most important component - the food!
Can anyone recommend a caterer in Marin, or I guess SF too, who you had a good experience with? I'm really hoping we can steer away from the "salmon w/ dill" boring stuff my mom loves. Rather, I think we want to go with someone who serves eclectic food elegantly.
The tone of our wedding (at this point!) is rustic elegance and we're thinking about a buffet for about 100 people in May of 2006.
I'm open to different cuisines, but will probably go with a (affordable) Chez Panisse-type menu: Organic, seasonal, high-quality ingredients prepared simply but beautifully..
Insalatas and Comforts are the only vendors on our list at this point..
