A short time ago I was reading the "black tablecloth" blog on Admiral's website. Chef Elliot went on vacation and stayed near the Bufort Hwy area outside of Atlanta, famous for the many ethnic restaurants. Day two he dined at an Ethiopian restaurant and went on to say that "hands down it is my favorite ethnic cuisine. This food has a lot of soul … so heavily spiced, so filling and so delicious." He went on to lament the lack of Ethiopian in the Asheville dining scene. I have never tried Ethiopian and this peaked my curiosity. Maybe he created a much needed spark as Desoto Lounge announced it will be adding it to their menu one day a week!
