The epicenter of Chinese dining in the East Bay is...Dublin?!

What is happening here? There is Koi Palace. Suddenly there seems to be a flowering of dim sum places. Besides Koi and the long standing Willow Tree, now there is Golden Sand Harbor and Mayflower (soft opening). If you count Lee Garden in Pleasanton, there are 5 dim sum places within a stone throw of each other. Last Sunday the wait at Mayflower for lunch was over an hour, and it's not even officially open. Little Lamb hot pot is also opened next door. No, Dublin is not Fremont, yet. But apparently there is this dormant need for dim sum in the area. Who knew.
