new england lobster roll trip

The lobster rolls at Thurston's in Bernard,Me. were the worst we had.
They were dry and rubbery.
Lat yr. they were the best we ate.
Beal's in SW Harbor were better and the best were at Mainely Delights at the Swan Island Ferry terminal(closed for the season) and the Docksider in NE Harbor.
The Trenton Bridge lobster pound was very good also.
Cleonice in Ellsworth was really worth the trip for tapas and Debbie's Corner Cafe in Randolph,Vt. on the return trip had the biggest and best omlette I've had in years!
We stayed at the Harborside Motel in SW Harbor---very clean and nice and then moved to Kimball Terrace Motel in NE Harbor---also a top-notch spot with a lovely view of NE Harbor.
On the return trip we stayed at the Super 8 Motel in White River Jct. which was dirty and had mold growing over the shower...a place you might want to avoid.
