I grew up in southern Vermont and long for the Greek/New England-style pizza you can find everywhere there.
This is the kind of pizza that's made in a pan slathered in olive oil and allowed to rise before baking/uses a mozzarella/cheddar cheese mix and has oregano in the sauce. Usually made in places with names like "House of Pizza."
I am desperate to find this kind of pizza in the DC area. Any ideas on restaurants that serve this kind of pizza (preferably Metro-accessible).?
P.S. If you're ever in southern Vermont, go to Village Pizza off of Exit 3 in Brattleboro - you won't be sorry!
