Ended up at Tamarind and enjoyed it

A couple of weeks ago I was on my way to Kitchen 22 on a Saturday night to wait in line for their price fixe meal and arrived to find there had been a small fire leaving the restaurant closed for the night. After mulling around a bit, we settled on dining at Tamarind across the street. They offer Indian cuisine from 5 regions of the country and the food was quite good, especially the grilled items. However, the item of note was the service. On a busy Saturday night, they found a way to accomodate us with a short wait. Then they spent a significant amount of time answering our questions about items on the menu and the waitstaff had all of the right answers. They helped us design an order for sharing and it turned out well. On the way out, I thanked the manager for taking care of us and he said to tell my friends. So here you go.
