Had my first experience at El Sitio the other night... we sat at the counter, and split the best cuban sandwich I've ever tasted. Having just spent a week in Miami sampling "the best" - I'd convinced myself that I wasn't a cubano fan, but this sandwich made me reconsider. Simple, and perfectly executed.
We also ordered the "El Sitio chicken" which is simply grilled boneless chicken breast topped with raw onions, served with moro and sweet plantains. This was a little disappointing... chicken was dry, and the plantains were a little undercooked and hard for my tastes.
Baditas were good / cafe con leche was just okay.
I'm anxious to revisit El Sitio, but want to try and avoid the misses. Any other "must try" dishes at El Sitio?
