El Guaton - Amazing Chilean Sandwich - Review

Remember reading a raving review several months ago. I visited today and left very satisfied. I had the Lomito Completo which is prime sirloin pork on a home made round roll with sauerkraut, tomatoes, avacado, mayo. Sandwich is fresh made and served warm and takes 20 minutes. Truly amazing. I took 1/2 home. When I went to the counter to pay the check they were removing fresh baked Empanadas from the oven. These Empanadas are GIGANTIC the size of a calzone and just $3.00 ($4.00 for the seafood). I ordered the chicken and plan to have it for dinner along with the 1/2 sandwich. I sampled the Empanada when I arrived home and it tasted incredibly good. Next time, I plan to order the Churrasco Completo which is beef, sauerkraut, tomatoes, avocado and mayo. Another winner could be the Chacarero which is beef, avocado, string beans, tomatoes, mayo. Sandwiches $6.00. Don't go for the atmosphere but excellent Chilean Sandwiches and basked Empanadas. Avoid the pizza. Located at 68-14 Roosevelt Ave, Woodside.
