Eccentric restaurant profiled in The New Yorker

Mary Anne | Feb 7, 2003 12:43 PM

A while back The New Yorker ran a piece about a longstanding small restaurant with an astoundingly large menu, all cooked by one guy if I remember correctly. It sounded completely off-the-wall and well worth a stop on my upcoming NYC trip. Anybody know the name of the place I'm talking about? Still in business? Thanks for your help.
