I left the menu at home, so let me report on the logistics. Perhaps Bonz can chime in on the specifics.
This is held in the large Atrium, 6:30 to 9:30PM. You got a plate and a wine glass and there are stands all around the room. I'm guessing 6 white wine stands, 3 champagne stands, 2 beer stands, and maybe 30 oyster stands, each a different variety. You also got a box of 3-4 VERY large shrimp, and a couple of bad, previously frozen snow crab claws.
7-8PM was crunch time, and it was a little tough to get around. But I have to say, they were staffed to the hilt, and you never had to wait more than a moment for whichever oyster or wine you wanted. What I also noticed, was after 8PM things got MUCH better. My sense is that everyone was feeling their fill of oysters by this point, and the shuckers had no problem keeping up.
For $75, this is a great deal. I imagine most of those wines go for $7-10/glass, and most of those oysters are on the menu for maybe $3 each? Add in the sshrimp cocktail, and the tax and tip you'd pay if you were sitting at the raw bar, and it's not tough to run up a pretty big bill.
What drove my wife and I out the door in less than 1 hour (that's right - dine and dash), was the horrible, loud music. They had some awful band, much too loud, and in a glass atrium with marble floor. Aaaggghh.
