Started the day with breakfast at Petsi Pies. Wonderful blackberry ginger scone, though I wished they had fig vanilla! Husband's lemon scone was tasty as well. Good Terroir coffee.
Lunch at OM was a surprising pleasure. Liked the design, and it was nice to look over the park. Had the salad nicoise - they use grilled escolar rather than tuna. Rich, but quite silky. Dressing (a parmesan lemon emulsion) was salty, but very good. Shared an order of momos as an app and liked the three sauces we tried. Friend had a pork sandwich and enjoyed it. It also came with a huge pile of sweet potato fries, very thin and crispy.
Dinner was takeout from Thai Moon in Arl Ctr. After trying Sala Thai last month, Thai Moon is still the best in Arlington! Thai pancakes had a crispy outside yet chewy insides, Tofu w/ vegetables was very fresh tasting and had many cashews, and the Noodle Country Style was savory with a nice smoky taste.
