Two or three eats in Montreal

nazaruk | Nov 17, 2011 02:20 PM

Hi, I am looking for two or three (dinner) eats in Montreal. something that is not too establishment, crusty, old school, white table clothes. I want a good food experience with a good atmosphere. I like Au pied de cochon but my friend does not eat their meat options so I am looking for alternatives. I thought about going to St. Lawrent and Sherbrooke but those couple of restaurants in that area seem really empty at this time of year. I am not so sure about the Old City because I feel that the food is overpriced and the restaurants are geared mostly at tourists and I don't enjoy that kind of experience, If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks
