Eating out for Christmas

yimster | Dec 26, 2004 11:52 AM

For the first time ever we did not cook for Christmas Day. None of us had the energy to cook. So therefore we ate out for both meals.

For lunch we went to Five A’s in Burlingame.

We order the following:

Sweet Soy Bean Milk

Savory Soy Bean Milk

Braised Beef Noodle Soup the broth and beef was really great but the noodles were not like hand pulled or knife cut. If it was then it would have been prefect.

Ma La Beef Tendon

Sour Cabbage Lamb Clay Pot Soup

Deep Fried Golden Thread Bread

For Dinner we ate at Parc Hong Kong

Sweet and Sour Turnip and Carrot (free)

Steamed Turtle Soup

Roasted Squad

Salt and Pepper Crab

Bamboo Pith and Large Pea Sprout

Clear Soup Chinese Beef Stew with Chinese Turnip

Steamed Black Bass

These were freebies also, but the selection were be reduced as the day goes on.

Red Bean Soup

Chinese Cookies

Mochi Coconut and Peanut Balls these were most likely made for dim sum lunch but were fresh and soft.
