Dublin Dr. Pepper & Coke With Cane Sugar [split from San Diego thread]

Dublin Dr. Pepper is Dr. Pepper made in Dublin Texas. It is the only Dr. Pepper factory in the world that still uses cane sugar. All other Dr. Pepper is made with corn syrup. Like "Mexican" Coca Cola is made with cane sugar (actually all Coke made in Central and South America is made with real cane sugar). Dublin Dr. Pepper has extremely limited distribution if any. I think it's mostly a tourist stop.

However, Texas is farther from us than Mexico, and fewer people buy Dublin Dr. pepper than Mexican Coke (because Mexican Coke is sold everywhere in Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Belize, Chile, etc - all Central/South Americans drink real cane sugar in their Coke).

Also Mexican Coke is even sold at Costco now. So, the prices for Mexican Coke are lower than Dublin Dr. Pepper. Linkery has gone the extra mile here and gone beyond offering Mexican Coke, because all trendy slow food restaurants offer Mexican Coke now. I like the innovation of the Linkery in this case. Plus I'm a Texan, and partial to Dublin Dr. Pepper. My dad used to drive 15.-2 hours EACH WAY to Dublin to pick up flats of Dublin Dr. Pepper. But yeah, it's gonna cost more. Even more than a Mexican Coke.
