Driving to Ocean City MD in am - great, reasonable place to eat lunch on the way?

We've stopped at the new Hyatt in Cambridge last year on our annual April trek to OC, Md. for the weekend. It was just OK. The crabcake was fair and the Caesar salad was mediocre. The dessert was great. We wouldn't go back for the food, though the place is drop dead gorgeous - for that area.

Years past we've stopped in Easton and hit a pub for some mediocre food, only to find a great looking coffee shop around the corner that looked much better after we'd already eaten. We've also eaten at H&G (we call it Hags and Gags) right on Rt 50. It's ok, nothing great. We've stopped in St Michaels too, but can't remember where we ate. We're leaving Silver Spring around 1015am so we'll need lunch around 1230 or 1pm.

We need a place that is reasonably priced yet excellent!

Any suggestions?
