I saw Chinese or Japanese drinking rice vinegars at the local Asian market, then I tried the apple flavored one in a cocktail at a bar (in PDX). They are fabulous.
We now drink them(love the apple, lemon, and pineapple flavors) in cocktails or just mixed with seltzer. I am wondering if anyone knows more about these flavored vinegars. They are sorta like syrups, but with a fruit and vinegar kick.
Are they good for me? (I have heard vinegar is good for heartburn, etc.)
Are they Japanese or Chinese?
Any other ideas for drinking them?
Anyone else love them?
