I had a noon presentation today and wanted to take a nice lunch for the prospective clients.
A quick survey of the Chowhounds site yielded Nazo's Croissant Etc. 801 South Flower Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017 (213) 689-4833.
They delivered lovely sandwiches on time and at a very reasonable (I think) $86 which included 10 sandwiches, chips, beverages and yummy freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.
The sandwiches were not special in their combinations, but they were so fresh, tasty and tastefully presented. We had extra-delicious tuna, smoked turkey w/ provolone, ham & swiss and avocado & cheddar all served on very fresh, but crusty pumpernickel, large flaky croissants and what appeared to be a french roll.
The cookies smelled like they had just been baked. They had dark, rich chocolate chips that were still slightly melting when we ate the cookies an hour after they arrived.
One warning - I was surprised when the delivery person told us that they did not take credit cards - Yikes!
Thanks for the help.
