The sports bar/restaurant's only a month old, doesn't have a proper sign on it, but yeah, go there.
The chef is Trish Gill - former sous chef at Beast, among other Toronto great restaurants.
I went there for brunch and the menu is small but killer.
We had the Tailgate - a meat menu for 2 at $18/person. What does $18 get you? Sit down for this.
-popcorn with shredded pigs' ears
-pig in a blanket
-different dipping sauces galore
-a huge beef shortrib
-doughnuts with salt and jalapeno
I ate at 2:30. haven't had any desire for dinner. so full and so happy. the winner were the short ribs, which were thick, tender, juicy and perfectly fatty. The fat just melted perfectly with each bite, giving a delicious flavour to the ribs. The bones were for decoration because these puppies fell right off them.
They do more than brunch, and I'll be back for that. Tap list is above average for Toronto. Atmosphere: it's a sportsbar, but not really. No brosephs there when we went.
Brunch menu also had eggs benny, french toast and a few other items (small, simple but good menu). Dinner menu has nachos....maybe someone in Toronto will do nachos properly?
