Dobbs Ferry: Pleasantly Surprised by my Value Lunch at Tenbo

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent luncheon at Tenbo, a new Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Dobbs Ferry. Specials at $ 5.95/6.95 include complementary cabbage appetizer, soup and entree. Quantity, quality and decor were impressive. Lunch entrees were dinner sized and came with a large cup of expertly done vegetable fried rice. My only quibble was with the hot and sour soup which I found a bit too sweet. Japanese lunch box specials are also available. Don't forget the nice Chinese hard candies as you leave!
