I have been to Peter Luger in Brooklyn and Ben Bensons in Manhattan. What others are there? BESIDES the chains!
What is the best steakhouse for big fresh lamb chops, fatty ribeyes, lobster with drawn butter, wonderful bread + cols butter, superb martinis, and of course NY cheesecake. I like old school places, and will have only one night for dinner. I have heard of: The Old Homestead, Pen & Pencil, Sparks, post house. Whats the best??
Food quality first, atmosphere second. Price is of no concern.
By the way, does anyone know what happend to my favorite Italian place called Mazzei? It used to be at 81st and second, but is now closed.
