Dinner for parents 60th birthdays

My husband and I are looking for a nice, festive, special restaurant to take my in-laws for their 60th birthdays - somewhere with great food and nice ambience. Anywhere in the D.C. area would work.
In terms of price range, we'd like somewhere with main courses in the $15-20 range (~$50 per person total including wine).
In terms of cuisine, not sushi, chinese, thai, etc. - probably seafood, steak, chicken type fare.

We've searched the boards and found Komi, Vidalia, and Obelisk - but all seem to have mixed reviews. Restaurant Eve sounded great, but a little more than we want to spend. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Dana
