Finally made it over the Banjara. We started with the eggplant coconut seafood shrimp, coconut samosas, and the onion bahji. All apps were good although I thought the fried items could have been a bit more crisp. For entrees I had the Shrimp Duphakt, the pastry was too doughy, but the shrimp were really large and I was really happy to see that. The sauce was also good. I guess I was in the mood for coconut since everything I ate seemed to have it as an indgredient. Our friend had vegetable vindaloo, tasty but could have been more spicy. My husband (who unfortunately has become a vegetarian... a future subject for me) had a mixed vegetable dish that was ok, but I prefered the vindaloo. The service was excellent. Very Very efficiant. We will go back for more. The comp ice cream wasn't edible. It tasted like milky soap. Does anyone know what flavor it is?
