DINE ABOUT TOWN- Bacar (broken heater makes for a cold meal)

I've enjoyed dining at Bacar on a number of occasions. Monday night was no exception, though, due to none of their overhead heaters working, it was an extremely chilly meal. Should the restaurant not have warned people that it would be quite cold inside? My dining partner and I discussed this at length.

On Monday night we made a reservation to enjoy the DAT menu. I was excited to see their incredible caesar salad as part of the available selections for DAT and promptly ordered that as my starter. I ordered the pasta as my main. Decent, but not memorable.

The desserts, however, made up for it! We had both the banana bread pudding and the panna cotta. Each were amazing, though the panna cotta was the clear winner in my mind.

No matter how you slice it, the DAT menu at Bacar is a serious value and not to be missed. Hope, by now, they've fixed the heaters. Otherwise, pack an extra jumper, maybe a scarf too!
