Dim Sum Go Go: No, no

The first time I went to Dim Sum Go Go, soon after it opened, I was not impressed. But a recent positive review convinced me to give it another try and, unfortunately, nothing has changed. The place is all style and no substance. The dumplings are pretty, but they don't have that explosion of flavor you get from the dumplings at New Green Bo or most of the area's dim sum places. I tried the pickled vegetable dumplings and the shrimp and chive dumplings. The pickled vegetable dumplings had very little vegetable in them and were filled with what I think was rice noodle - very bland. The shrimp and chive dumplings had no shrimp flavor. I also ordered a dish called minced pork and chinese parsley. It turned out to be a huge, thin porkburger sitting in a pool of grease with a sprinkling of what I presume to be chinese parsley on top. After two bites I called for my check and left. Service was extremely slow; it took 40 minutes to get my entree. With so many better and cheaper places in Chinatown, I can't see going back there again.
