I've recently found out about something called carne asada fries.....seems they're a popular dish at taquerias in San Diego. From the description....I would liken them to Snuffer's cheese fries, with carne asada and guacamole on top.
I looked on Wiki, and they said: Carne asada fries are a local specialty found primarily in San Diego, and Los Angeles California, but can also be found on the menus of Taquería-like Mexican restaurants in other parts of the American Southwest including, but not limited to, Sacramento, Fort Worth, and Tucson but is normally not a menu item in most "traditional" Mexican Restaurants
Fort Worth? Please tell me it's so. Has anyone had these, or seen these on a menu at a taqueria in DFW?
