Hello everyone. First post here. The little lady and I are pretty big on dessert. However it seems that everyone seems to be making the progression to having 80% of their dessert selection as comprised of different cheesecakes with the occasional pie or other cake.
I have nothing against cheesecake, but I make like 20 different kinds myself. I would have to say that my exploration into the world of desserts is pretty limited..especially beyond cakes, and half the time I don't know what the description of a dessert means on the menu (or out the mouth of the server) of a swanky restaurant.
I've been to some decent patisserie's in montreal...but I'm just wondering if there's a killer place to go for dessert in ottawa, or if not, in montreal or toronto. I've done L'Espresso, Thyme and Again, and Oh So Good in ottawa, i'm a fan of Demetre's in Toronto...just based on their homemade icecream and crepe innovations, and i haven't found a steady place to add to my rotation in montreal.
