Dedo is underappreciated gem

Been meaning to write this for weeks, so forgive my memory being a little fruzzy on menu details, but the bottom line is Dedo is a great place that deserves more diners.

Took a friend there for an almost-significant ("9" at the end) birthday, and had a wonderful meal. To start, they brought us an excellent bean pate with the bread, it had a deep meaty flavor. For appetizers we had a mixed-greens salad and an ass-kicking ravioli with fresh fava beans and other good stuff. For entrees I had local cod and my partner had the pork. Everything was beautifully prepared. We were the only diners there on a Tuesday night, although the bar was doing a brisk dinner business. The price/quality ratio was good.

Dedo is probably not quite up to the same standard as the late Elements in Arlington, but I found the food excellent and fear it will meet the same fate as Elements without more business.
