DC Softshell Sandwich report - CF Folks v Breadline

just returned from Breadline (sorry Steve, couldn't wait for you guys, plus it's HOT up there on the 2nd level, they're not running the AC)
I have to give the nod to CF Folks' softshell sandwich. It was meatier, even a little mustard-y which was great. The BL sandwich seemed overly breaded and greasier by comparison. Plus I like the more traditional slaw at CFF vs BL's pickled version, and the fact that it's served on the side, never did like cole slaw inside a sandwich. CFF's chipotle mayo vs BL's remoulade? a toss-up, tho again I like the CFF way of serving it on the side for more personal control. BL's brioche was the bread winner, no big surprise.
at BL you get fries, at CFF you don't. BL cost 11.95, CFF cost 9.95. It's CFF by a coupla lengths.
