I'm coming to San Fran for my first time to visit some friends of mine during the fourth of July. I'm pretty excited about it and have been doing some reading on here and some other sites to get an idea of places that I should try visit while in town. I'm looking for places that are unique to the city and, specifically, stuff that I can't really get back east. I'll be staying at my friend's place in Lower Haight
Here is my list thus far.... I'd love to hear your suggestions:
El Farolito - green chile sauce, carne asada burrito, super quesadilla
La Tacqueria - El Dorado style Carnitas Taco
Cu Co - Spicy Carnitas Burrito
J's Pots of Soul
Shanghai Dumpling King
No idea, you guys have more opinions on this with seemingly little consensus. Perhaps you guys can recommend a good one in Lower Haight?
What do you all think? I'm a sushi snob and when I'm in NYC (once a month) a usually frequent Sushi Yasuda, Ushi Wakamaru, and Blue Ribbon. I'm open to suggestions.
I'm open to any other suggestions and would truly appreciate your thoughts on the list above.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to checking out your city
