I am posting because I believe that Namaskar serves better Indian food, has interesting Southern Indian entrees and I always thought the pre-ordering non-alcoholic apertif was a nice touch so rare in Boston.
Diva is loud, brash, adequate -
Think the restaurants in "Big Night" - the ultimate chowhound movie...
In any case, noticed that N has recently added a neon "Open" sign and they must be hurting because they no longer put strands of saffron in the aforementioned apertif. Diva was packed to the gills - Namaskar only a few tables.
So what gives? Is the trendy, outdoor-oriented, youth-oriented Diva going to kill off its quieter competition? Can Chowhounds rescue N from its Darwinian fate? Should Chowhounds attempt to counter natural selection?
