Dante's BBQ in Eagle Rock - Finally Open

Opening Day:
Quite busy considering there was no advance notice. More importantly; THE RIBS WERE GREAT!!! Meaty, no gristle or fat, and very tender AND smokey. I'd say superior to Zeke's (which I also like), as well as to BBQ King. No beef ribs available (that I could see).

I got the sampler which was 4 pork ribs, a cut up link and cut up chicken breast. I'm not sure I'd do it this was again, since I'd rather have my link as a whole, but the link was quite tasty. The chicken was okay, but I have a feeling it would have been better to order a bbq chicken and not the breast. Got the house sauce on the side and it was excellent, smokey but not too hot.

First day was quite busy, but the staff couldn't have been more helpful, handing out samples of fries (a little too soggy for my taste), onion rings (great) and fried pickles (ditto). Will be going back to try the pulled pork and burgers next time.
