has anyone tried this Italian farmed Adriatic sturgeon caviar (acipenser naccarii)? it's popped up at marche transatlantique which supplies latina, falero etc.
the price is good (for caviar) at around 160-170$ for 100g. it's half the price of Breviro, the New Brunswick farmed Shortnose Sturgeon caviar (Acipenser brevirostrum). Breviro is excellent btw, just can rarely justify the price.
not much info can be found on Da Vinci online and I have to say it seems a bit shady.. wondering if anyone has any experience in terms of taste? considering getting 100g for nye celebrations...
