Yet another cupcake "specialist" has opened up in Toronto.
It's relatively difficult to find a good Chelsea bun or butter tart in Toronto these days (which would be what Ontario bakeries used to do well), but now you can't throw a stick without hitting someone who has eaten at least one cupcake in the last week.
Don't get me wrong, I liked cupcakes when I was in grade school and needed to bring something to a bake sale, and sometimes I'll eat them if they're fresh and free, but I cannot be bothered to spend $2.50 + on a cupcake.
